Session

Money matters: time to decolonize?!

Join us as we embark on a journey to explore innovative pathways for financing civil society actors in Africa, South America, and Asia. As questions arise about the best approach, should Belgium open the door to direct funding of these international CSOs, or could a reversed funding model ignite a true power shift for international partners of Belgian CSOs? Or are there other approaches that we are overlooking?

In this session, we’re diving deeper into alternative funding strategies to catalyze a significant power shift towards civil society actors across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. It’s time to confront the barriers of financial dependency that counter real progress in rebalancing power dynamics.

Be part of the conversation. We’re bringing together international organizations, partners, and networks to share their insights and perspectives on reshaping the landscape of financial power. Don’t miss your chance to be at the forefront of change!

When: 14h00
